July 6 Thoughts and Ideas
Creative Musings
Random Inspiration - If you have a sewing machine, using a piece of copy paper and colored thread, sew a path, composing shapes and patterns as inspired, changing stitches as inspired, but without stopping to pick up and start in a new place. Take this template to create the path for your dance movement this week. Sew a second path with a second thread color parallel to or mirrored to the first- a duet in unison, or sew a second path in the free space on the page; a duet not in unison. What can you find in your home for random inspiration?
Observations
The current climate has created a refreshing new interest in history lessons, the parts we missed in general US History and Dance History, both pertinent as part of our teaching skills set.
