Thoughts and Ideas 11/28

CONVERSATION Starter

Joy. 'Tis the season? Humbug? Well, we can't always be joyful, it would be exhausting. How do you prevent your inner joy from getting buried under December pressures and anxiety? How can you bring out your joy when dancing? Talk about expectations, realities, and methods of feeling the joy when you need it.

Creative Experiment

Think of the tiniest thing that gives you a spark of joy. Pause. Picture it. Allow a smile. Embody the smile in a dance movement. Continue. Share the smile and dance movement with another person. Continue. Imagine taking the time to develop the movement into a dance. Tuck this idea image away and pull it out next time you need a moment of joy.
