Experiential Anatomy: Bones

Experiential anatomy is a simple, practical, hands-on way to learn the names, shapes, and locations of your bones, and joints through touch and movement.

During class, you’ll develop a practical understanding of the nature of bone as a tissue, learn the feeling and function of your own structure through movement exploration and bone tracing, and clarify your internal picture of yourself with the help of anatomical illustrations.

Experiential anatomy classes prioritize your lived experience of your body as the basis for learning, and as the most essential tool you have for moving with ease, efficiency, and confidence.

Week 2 (11/10): Pelvis, legs, feet

Week 3 (11/17): Shoulders, arms, hands
