CV's, BIOs. Love them? Hate them? Need one? Are they different needs; to write about yourself for a program or for a job? Share your views, frustrations, stories, and needs when it comes to providing a CV or BIO for a program, audition, job application.

Creative Experiment

Putting on a shirt. Sit on a chair with a shirt on your lap. This shirt can represent anything you choose or just be a shirt. Practice putting on the shirt. Practice taking off the shirt. Study your practice. Each time vary an imaginary audience: none, children, venomous snakes, shirt-designers, visual artists, choreographers, old folks, Birds.... Go to extremes using all your tools: dynamic range of motion and tempo, focus, Rhythm, tension, etc. If you so choose expand the exercise; imagine different purposes/motivations/distractions. Leave the shirt behind and stylize or abstract the movements. Leave the chair. Weave a story.
