UNM Post Doc Opportunity, Deadline Wednesday 12/9
The Dance Program at UNM is pursuing one of three postdoc positions supported through the university’s Inclusive Excellence Postdoctoral or Visiting Scholar Program, intended to enhance the campus’s racial/ethnic diversity. A terminal degree (MFA or PhD) is a minimum qualification, determined by the university. The Dance Program seeks a candidate whose research and teaching focus on dance(s) of Africa and/or the African Diaspora. Candidates may not apply directly; each academic unit can nominate one candidate. Full-time dance program faculty will hold an internal review of applications to select and nominate one candidate.
The 12-month appointment comes with the opportunity to continue the position into the next academic year and potentially longer-term. Applications must be received by Wednesday, December 9. For more information, please link to the job announcement on the Dance Studies Organization website: https://
