CONVERSATION Starter
Reflections. The artist Claude Monet would paint multiple images of the same scene, fascinated by reflections of light and color, changed by the time of day. Think of our Sandia Mountains. These changes could change the mood of the painting. How could a choreographer illustrate this literally and figuratively through dance? Discuss.
Exploratory
Observe the same place in nature over the course of the day. Think about the the shape, color, dimensions and direction of light and shadow. Play with these concepts in movement with a partner. Discuss.
