Thoughts and Ideas 9/25
CONVERSATION Starter
Resilience, the capacity to adapt to challenging life experiences. The thought of change or uncertainty often causes stress and avoidance which creates extended suffering. What does it mean to lean-in to uncertainty as a way to build tolerance? Discuss. Does dance training build resilience?
Creative Experiment
Create movement that involves . . . . leaning. Take a class in dance improv or theater/comedy improv or present material, dance, spoken, or other, to a peer or with a peer, without a plan. Use a prompt. . . or not. Commit to "that class" or workshop you are uncertain about taking or offering. Discuss more ideas to lean-in with movement. List graduated ideas to practice living with uncertainty in your non-dance life.
