CONVERSATION Starter

Patterns. A novel I recently read, Speak by Louisa Hall, proposed the difference in humans and AI is that humans have the ability to break from a pattern. Discuss the validity of this claim. Take tangents. Apply the thought to dance, mental health or other areas that come to mind. How committed to patterns are we in dance?

Creative Experiment

Imagine or play with a piece of choreography dedicated to the above premise of breaking from a pattern. Observe, then break a pattern you may be stuck in.
