CONVERSATION Starter

'Dynamic Range'. What does it mean in movement? How can its use benefit training? How can you use 'Dynamic Range' to effect performance? Discuss personal and observed experience.

Creative Experiment

Make a practice video of yourself doing a movement routine of your own or from a class. Repeat emphasizing range. Find the places within the movement where you can make adjustments, extend to a maximum range, and places you can reduce to a minimum range. Compare Videos. What did you adjust? Consider the categories of qualities where range can be adjusted. Work with each separately. Discuss.
