CONVERSATION Starter
Looking back, staying present, looking forward, three directions of inspiration, literal or metaphorical. Find examples in your creative work or someone else's. Share thoughts with a fellow artist.
Creative Experiment
With the literal use of 'looking', create a short movement phrase in your genre that focuses back. Repeat focusing forward. Play with these imaginatively. See how the feelings in the movement change if you mix literal and metaphorical, or mix the two directions. Evaluate and discuss. Interpret 'staying present'. If desired, throw it in the mix.

Road trip and Art: Take the scenic drive to Taos to see "Outriders; Legacy of the Black Cowboy, Harwood Museum of Art, 238 Ledoux St. Thru May 7th. Looks like an exhibit to inspire choreography.
