Thoughts and Ideas 12/19
CONVERSATION Starter
Warm up. Yes it's cold outside! Think about the safety and responsibility of the warm up. What do you feel about warming up? Do you depend on yourself, have a routine, dress warmly? Do you depend on an instructor/choreographer to build your warm up into the start of session? As an instructor/choreographer, what do you expect and provide, and, do for yourself? What about the differing requirements for each unique body at constantly changing points in life, do you consider this for yourself or others? Now move past the physical warm up. Consider the mental warm up, do you? Discuss.
Creative Experiment
Invent three warm-ups; to start the day, to start a movement session, and to prime the mind. Can you make a 3-in-1? Keep these in your toolbox, pull them out daily, tweaking as you need, knowing they are always at hand.
