CONVERSATION Starter
Less. Shebana Coelho in an article in the winter '22 print edition of Stance on Dance asked "when you've already reached such a level, what are you seeking?" The answer elaborated on the simple word "Less". Discuss this concept.
Exploratory
Write a short story with one of the prompts - wine glass, blanket, or window. Reduce it to one hundred words or less. Reduce it to a haiku. With your own prompt try the same thing with a dance phrase reducing to making each movement absolutely necessary, say and extract the essence of what you want to communicate.

Art: Artist Orlando Leyba's work "Reclaimed: Orlando Leyba" in which abstraction meets northern New Mexico beauty and decay, is on display at The Curated Creative, 7401 Menaul Blvd NE, Ste H, through Dec. 3rd.
Art: At the other end of the spectrum, "Thomas Cole's Studio: Memory and Inspiration", the founder of America's first art movement with the Hudson River School is on display at the Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Rd. NW.
