Magnification. Imitation. Think of a small act of seemingly little consequence. Spin it with a metaphorical meaning, or magnify it to great proportion. Imagine a witness interpreting the small act in a bigger way, repeated and copied again by another. Follow this out for positive and negative results. Ponder, discuss.
Exploratory
Explore and abstract the concept above with movement. Try the concept with "the Telephone game" - Create a small, short, contained phrase of movement. Show it to someone, ask them to interpret their meaning and reinterpret the phrase. Repeat. Or, try magnification exploration by experimenting with your own dynamic range of movement and meaning each time you repeat the phrase. Or, try changing impact by increasing and reducing the numbers of people performing the phrase. Continue to explore new ways to make the inconsequential consequential.
