NM Dance Project: Mint, with Solos by Dancing Earth

Dancing Earth is taking first gentle steps towards re-emergence of the movement expression, while we are still amidst a recalibration and restructuring to stay resilient and relevant to our communities.

In an evening of small works by local choreographers returning to live performance at last!

with 2 solos by Dancing Earth artists

July 8-9 at 7:30 pm MT at Center for Contemporary Arts produced by NM Dance Project

More info can be found here: https://www.nmdanceproject.com/mint

One is the acclaimed autobiographical solo BASKET WEAVER, danced by Sne Pesata about her own life as a fifth generation weaver.

And a very rare solo by Rulan Tangen, as an early stage work in progress . It is a ritual of transformation that returns her to the core of my intuitive creation while reaching deeper into the evolution of context. I will dance in collaboration with sculptural artworks made by Marion Claire Wasserman : antler, lava rocks and yucca pods with 23K gold, seashell, horsetail grass, and quartz stones.
