Inclusive Performance Festival

The Inclusive Performance Festival is produced by the Cal State East Bay Department of Theatre and Dance and Dandelion Dance Theater. A series of workshops, performances, and other events are held throughout April and early May in an array of genres and led by an intersectional group of organizers. This year it runs from April 6th - May 8th. All events are free and most are online.

A member of ADC’s Steering Wheel, Emmaly Wiederholt, will be teaching a Writing Inclusively about Dance workshop based on her work with Stance on Dance next Tuesday, April 6th at 3:30pm MT. She will also be co-leading a DanceAbility workshop with my dance partner Tonya Rivera on Tuesday, April 27th at 3:30pm MT. DanceAbility is a dance method for people with and without disabilities. There are also some events hosted by Dancing Earth, an Indigenous contemporary dance company partly based in New Mexico, as well as many other great events and offerings. Again, all are free and most are online.
