Compass Roses: Maps by Artists

A national public art project "Compass Roses: Maps by Artists" started in Pittsburgh and is expanding to Albuquerque as the second city involved. The project seeks visual, literary and performing artists who live or work in the greater Albuquerque region. The project is a growing archive of maps by artists that explore a particular place from different points of view.

The deadline to apply is 11:59 Jan 9th.

Information can be found at their website and the call for entry.

30 selected artists will be paid $300 to contribute a map to the project. The first fifteen will be selected through an open call and then those 15 will each select an additional artist.
