Thoughts and Ideas 10/25/21
Musing
Collaboration. Merging of ideas. Reinterpreting ideas. When you share ideas with an artistic end in mind what do you observe in yourself? In others? What words might describe your experience?
Creative Experiment
1. Find a partner or group. Each of you make your own short choreography on a personal idea, separately. Afterward have a discussion about what you are working toward with your partner/group. Go back and rework it alone, thinking about the feedback. Discuss your results with each other.
2. Find a partner or group, Work together on a short choreography with similar or varied personal artistic ends in mind for a limited amount of time. Describe the emotions and experience to each other with a list of words.
3. Use the accumulated list of words or a selected subset as an armature to create a new piece of dance movement about the emotion and experience of sharing, collaborating, merging, reinterpreting.
