Thoughts and Ideas 2/7

Conversation Starter

Listening. Do you? How many ways are there to NOT listen? Conversely how many ways are there to listen? Observe conversations. Reflect on conversations you have participated in. Do all conversations require balanced verbal participation?

Creative Experiment

Make a conversation with movement with and without a prompt. With a partner try out some of the discoveries you came up with in the conversation starter using dance movement. See if you can nuance out hearing vs listening, engagement vs obligated presence, conversing vs talking. Play with timing.
