Thoughts and Ideas 1/10

Conversation starter

Empathy training, a phrase I heard recently caused me to ponder. As dancers and actors prepare to embody a role, is that not akin to empathy training? How far can you develop this idea? Discuss.

Creative Experiment

Think of a scenario in a setting. i.e. X climbs out of the car, looks at a NM vista, X walks to the mailbox and cries, a person laughing at the table as X approaches. Now, interpret your scene with a variety of points of view as different as you can imagine. How much can you change while keeping the short description? Work out a duet with two very different interpretations.
