Movement at the Museum, Romy Keegan

After enjoying the Old Town tree lighting, warm up with movement, music, and a little holiday cheer! Head over to the Albuquerque Museum for a cozy cup of cocoa and a special edition of Movement at the Museum, led by Romy Keegan.

This intergenerational workshop features three unique 20-minute dance sessions, beginning at 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30 PM. Each session explores a different movement phrase, so you can join us for one, two, or all three! Each session stands on its own, but those who stay for the full series will have the opportunity to bring all three phrases together in a playful final sequence.

All ages, generations, and experience levels are welcome. No dance experience necessary, just come ready to move, connect, and have fun!

Romy Keegan is a dancer and a space holder, a teacher, and community dance pioneer, who’s greatest Joy is bringing people together though the healing, activaton and transformation of movement and dance.

For over 30 years her playful, welcoming, beginner friendly, original, community oriented dance classes and outdoor performances have inspired and engaged, fulfilling her personal mission to reveal all the Love, Light and Beauty that not only surrounds and uplifts us, but unites us.
