Flamenco, Reina Sanchez

This class is a beginner Flamenco class open to any and all! No flamenco shoes are needed and if you have them please bring them! In this class we will be going over the fundamentals of Flamenco by looking at technique, terminology, percussion, etc. A small section of choreography will be taught and filmed with students permission. This class is to show the community how accessible and wonderful Flamenco and dance of any kind is.

Reina Sanchez has been training in multiple dance genres for over 15 years all across New Mexico, from training and performing in Española to training and performing at the National Institute of Flamenco. Reina’s main goal is to encourage an open and loving dance environment. Please come out and enjoy the class!
