Contemporary, Kristin Lucero

Kristin Lucero is a doctorate level physical therapist, licensed massage therapist and dance professional. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in dance and theater from Skidmore College, New York. She has danced professionally in New York City, Saratoga Springs, NY and in her home state of New Mexico. Kristin has many years experience in choreography, directing and teaching along with a lifetime of performing (in dance, theater, musical theater, signing and piano). Most recently she has taught contemporary dance in Albuquerque, NM for several studios including; Maple Street Dance Space, Studio Sway and Vibes. Recent Albuquerque performances also include shows at; Keshet, North Fourth Art Center, The Albuquerque Botanical Gardens and Studio Sway. Kristin is also a self-taught artist (Desert Moon Arts) and part of a band with her husband Christopher (The Moonbathers).

Kristin’s contemporary class is open to all levels and people. With a strong background in ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary, her class combines elements of these styles to create a joyful, heartfelt and expressive flow. The class includes a warm-up, movement sequences across the floor and center choreography at the end. Please join us!
